Access and Hours
Valley View was preserved for everyone to enjoy! It is free and open from dawn to dusk every day of the year.

Amenities
We keep it simple. We aim to minimize our impact and keep the property as natural and unaltered as possible. Visitors can explore more than 7 miles of mowed trails through wooded areas, across open prairie and along the river. Fishing is permitted along our stretch of the East Fork River and camping is allowed with an authorized reservation and permit. There is one port-o-let on site seasonally at the south entrance parking area for visitors.

Safety

Please call 911 in case of any emergency. We do not have rangers or staff on site; however, the City of Milford’s emergency services are nearby and familiar with the Valley View property. If you see something of concern, please call the Valley View office to notify us and/or call the non-emergency police number (513)248-5084.

Rules

Valley View is located within the City of Milford. We ask that visitors respect and follow the general rules of the city ordinance and the following:

  • Trails open at dawn and are closed to the public at dusk
  • Leave No Trace – please carry out everything you carry in including dog waste bags
  • Leave what you find – please do not remove plants, wildlife or other natural assets
  • Camping is only permitted in designated areas with permission and a completed permit
  • Pets are expected to be under control of a person and able to safely encounter other animals and people
  • Bicycles are limited to slow, leisurely riding only

The following are prohibited on Valley View’s property:

  • Vandalism of any kind
  • Unauthorized motor vehicles beyond designated parking
  • Unauthorized camping, burning, hunting or trapping
  • Smoking
  • Weapons
  • Dumping
